I bought this application with great hope. I HATE entering business card information into my contact list. One of the few worse things I can think of is doing expense reports, but that’s another story. Anyway, this applications works; sometimes. If the card is a basic business card, the applications works well. If the card gets fancy, well, you can capture a portion of the information usually.
So, what would I do to take this application to the next level? I agree there is only so much you can do in interpreting cards, and I can’t complain about what this app gets right. What I would do however is present the information on a screen before the contact screen and let the user drag the information around to the correct field. Many times it captures the text but places business names in titles or similar errors, dragging the information to other fields would go a long way in making it a lot more usable.
All that being said, I don’t regret buying the application.
