Recently the battery on my Macbook Pro went bad in under a year. Monday at around 10AM, I called AppleCare support. Within 30 seconds, I was talking to a real person. They had me check the easily accessible battery stats, determined that it was indeed a faulty battery and agreed to ship me a new one. I would ship the old one back on receipt of the new battery. The support rep indicated it would take 3-5 days for the battery to arrive, and that it would either arrive via Fedex or DHL.
The next morning, before 8AM, the battery showed up at my door.
