To everything there comes time to change. This hit me more than ever as I watched MSP and DTW being rebranded from Northwest hubs to Delta. It was a sad moment for those of us that loved the red tail. Still, we must move forward to grow. Over the coming weeks, you will see this journal evolve beyond it’s roots. For a long time it has been known as “Seat 6D” with the following description:
For those that fly the Northwest DC-9 configuration, seat 6D is coveted. If you have failed to get the upgrade, 6D has double legroom as there is no 5D. While the seat is slightly smaller due to fixed arms, the extra leg room is more than worth it.
Seat 6D is a series of vignettes into one road warriors journeys. As opposed to lengthy entries, expect thoughts of the moment, photos and other glimpses into life at 30,000 feet and below.
There will still be a focus on travel here as that is the core of my life. I find however that I am straying outside of travel into comentaries of other areas. Rather than try to create multiple homes, I would rather expand this to encompass other aspects of my life.
To those of you who have been following me, thank you. I hope you continue to enjoy the ride.
