Explorations of a Life
I am a firm believer in GTD. Not the magic letters, but the concept of creating a system you trust, and turning it into a habit and a way of life. At first I looked at it and said no way, I can’t be that structured, it’s not me. I went on my way, continuing to be frustrated, things falling through the cracks, 5500 lists if only I could find them. I’m sure many of you know the drill. The more I looked at GTD, the more I felt there was something there. Finally I realized, that adopting it would free me to be less structured, more spontaneous.
This video is by Evan Taubenfeld, who is Avril Lavigne’s guitarist. He recorded it for the recent GTD sumit. He gets it. And, he got it much faster than I did damn it! In any case, for those of you saying “I’m to creative for a program like that”, give it a listen.
